Indonesian Mandheling (grade 1) - FTO - 750g
Packed with robust, earthy flavours, the Sumatra Mandheling coffee bean is known for its smooth, heavy body. Although this coffee is relativity low in acidity, it exhibits complex tasting notes of chocolate and hints of other spice-based flavours. Sumatran beans are grown in west-central Indonesia near Padang between 2,500-5,000 ft. above sea level. A higher elevation slows the growing process which allows more time for nutrients and minerals to develop a fuller flavour. The beans are "triple-picked', referring to the sorting process which eliminates any defective beans from the harvest to achieve a consistency not found elsewhere. Indonesia is the 4th largest coffee growing country in the world.
